Σημειώσεις
- Σημείωση: * The burial date is problematical, the exact composition of the hd. being uncertain. It is not clear from the account in the RN that all non-Alexanders really belong and there is the possibility of adulteration in the Alexander record. As Newell points out, the absence of issues of Philip III and the brilliant condition of Ace and Sidon coins of 324 B.C. suggest a burial of about that date. One Alexander of Babylon (Sotheby 252) was, however, struck after Philip's death; it may be intrusive. A detailed analysis of the hd. has been prepared by U. Westermark
